I joined ShapeUp4Life due to being overweight and having high cholesterol. I believed I had a reasonably healthy diet and exercised enough (2-3 squash matches a week). However, ShapeUp4Life showed me the uncomfortable truth that bad habits had crept into my diet which I didn’t recognise and that the exercise I was doing was woefully inadequate. After completing the course and having removed some (but not all) bad habits and increased my exercise I have lost 1 stone and my total cholesterol has gone from 6.0 to 4.3. Certainly given me the motivating to continue.
